What is the intervention like?

The breast lift with implants is a surgery that includes the correction of breast flaccidity and volume increase by means of prosthesis, achieving firmer, higher and more proportionate breasts. It is performed under general anesthesia and begins by making incisions, which can be made around the areola, in a vertical line or in an inverted T-shape, depending on the degree of sagging of the breast. Through these incisions, the surgeon removes excess skin, repositions the areola and reshapes the breast tissue. The implants are then placed in the most appropriate position for the patient, either above or below the pectoral muscle, depending on the patient's anatomy and the desired result.

Once the procedure is completed, the incisions are closed with fine sutures and a post-surgical bra is placed to facilitate recovery. The surgery usually lasts between 2 and 3 hoursand generally does not require hospitalization, allowing the patient to return home the same day.
